Imbros is the second most popular gorge on Crete after Samaria. According to our previous clients it is equally beautiful to Samaria. The route runs through an 8 kilometers long valley between mountains and villages. Moreover, we continue to Frangocastello, a venetian fortress located in the south coast of the island. It is famous for the “dew men” (“Drosulites”), the phantoms soldiers, who lost their lives there during a great fight; they appear once a year, in May, early in the morning. The trip is completed in traditional style, as we pass through small villages of the region.
